The relative freedom of famous people...
I wonder if young Elizabeth dreamed of her future title, did she have smaller or bigger dreams? I wonder if the weight of her responsibilities and representation were worth her single life and if she could have left her position if she had decided to?_______________________________________________

For the UVA project, I wanted to create a fantasy world around the Queen. I imagined Elizabeth in a Hawaiian Garden of Eden, playing with the taste of freedom. I chose two mirrors bordered with gold ornamentation as artifacts, and I created two photographic works from my place of residence at the time, Kauai, Hawaii.
- It was through the invigorating jungle of Haena, in the north of Kauai, a place renowned as one of the most majestic and heavenly places in the world, that the idea matured. With the help of my two accomplices, Marc, husband, and Christine, muse, I created and imagined my two future works, “Queen's Fantasy” and “How could she believe it”.
